About Sterling Drilling

Sterling Drilling was formed in Sterling, Kansas by Rollin Mead and H.E. Billman in 1943. Roll was a machinist/mechanic and H.E. was owner of Kirkwood Sand & Gravel Company, of St. Louis Missouri. Together they began one of the most respected and longstanding drilling companies in the state of Kansas. Their values of trust, honesty and a handshake are still in place today with the current management of Sterling Drilling Company.
